Covid-19 Impact: Cancer Research & Programs at Risk

We need your help.

Cancer patients need us more now than ever.

Postponed surgeries, delayed treatments and screenings will impact patient outcomes.

They need us and we need you.

The Covid-19 pandemic has upended lives and plans.

The American Cancer Society is no exception.

Projected revenue for the year has declined by one third.

Despite cuts we have made, ACS programs, including our research, are in jeopardy.

An important part of our efforts have been to better understand health disparities.

This year, we're slated to fund 59 health equity research grants.

Each year, we invest $100 million in new research.

Because of the budget shortfall, we are at risk of cutting cancer researching funding by 50 percent this year.

Join our effort to raise $100 million towards cancer research.

With your support, we have helped usher in an era where more people survive cancer than ever before.

By translating our research findings into action, we've seen a 20% decline in US cancer death rates since the early 1990s. Join us to help finish the fight.
